spacing

On my new main from Q I occasionaly get a chattering along the luff similar to when your leach line is too loose. Seems to be most pronounced on reaches. I was wondering if the spacing on the luff hardware was correct? Any of you sailmakers out there know what the optimum spacing is? They guy...
