    Ericson 35-2 Polar Diagrams . . .

Anyone have these? I have gotten into racing pretty seriously over the last few years and I figure it would be nice to have these for my boat. I'd be willing to pay a reasonable fee (less than the US Sailing charge!) for these to help defray your former cost! rolf

    E32-3 Polar Diagram, where?

 Just getting the hang of sailing an E32-3 and can't seem to find a Polar Diagram for this boat on this site or anywhere else. Must be one somewhere for free. I see a web site for "Sailfish Yacht Analyzer" for $50 which looks interesting but not into a research project at this time...

    Polar Exploration

During a race recently my crew and I had some disagreement over how deep to sail the boat toward the leeward mark. We were in a non-spinnaker class, flying a 150 up front. Winds were pretty fluky, ranging from less than 5 kts to gusts of over 20 kts, with the average being around 12 to 15. I...

    Polar Diagrams

Does anyone have any experience with polar diagrams? I recently read "Winning Races " by John Heyes in which he talked about their use to maximize boat speed. I wonder whether the results justify the cost. Please give your opinion or experience. Our boat is a E35-3 that I want to race more...

    Polar Diagrams for the E35-3

I recently finished a book by John Heyes titled "Winning Races" . One of the many things he introduced me to was the polar diagram. Has anyone seen or obtained a copy for our Ericson 35-3's? Our boat is at Ventura, CA. It's a 1986, hull # 240, her name is Seabird. Any information you can...

    Polar diagrams for E34/35

Does anyone know where to find a polar diagram for the E35-3 or E34? (These are the velocity made good charts for all points of sail) I understand they can be ordered somewhere for a price (probably too high). Anyone know how to reach the designer, Bruce King, who might have it?
