Packless Shaft Seals
This PSS is between 10 & 12 years old. Sometimes it sits in a little fresh water that comes in from the rain. I have noticed the deterioration of the rotor (arrow) since this summer. From the diagram on the PSS website, it looks like the rotor is going to need to be replaced if it keeps chipping...- footrope

packless seal system
considering installing a PYI packless seal system on my 1988 38-200. Prop shaft is 1", does anyone know the diameter of the stern tube. Any comments from those who have done this installation- Doug Willrich
