heel

Hi folks - thanks in advance for the help. Is there an optimum heel angle that I should be targeting for speed? Not racing her or anything like that, just trying to get to know here. She moved right along at 10 - 15 degrees, but not sure if that is the right range to be shooting for.

i seem to have a crack running part way through the thin (lead?) 'shoe', or 'heel,' on the bottom of my E-25 mast- also a motley selection of various- size screws (some stainless, others obviously not) holding the thing on- anybody have a source for replacement for this? i'm not sure...
