I am looking to re-pack the stuffing box on our E28. I was reading about Gore GFO. Does anyone have experience with that product, or any similar product? I have never repacked a stuffing box before. Is this a job one person can handle with the boat still in the water? Any advice...

I was intrigued by the ad that GFO has on their web site www.stuffingboxpacking.com where they claim no leakage after the initial adjustment. I have been thinking about installing a dripless packing but the idea of a much cheaper solution sounds good. Does anyone have any experience with this...

Has anyone used Gore-Tex GFO "Tephite" Graphite/ePTFE composite packing for Stuffing boxes?
