galley plumbing

Does anyone have experience with changing the fresh water hose from the tank to the galley sink on an E26 (1985)? I recently installed a new galley foot pump and haven't been able to clear air out of the line. I suspect the hose has small leaks somewhere but I haven't been able to trace the path...
