capacity

We normally sail with 4 or 5 adults aboard our E28+. I'm wondering, though, how many adults (or total passenger weight) was this boat designed to carry safely? Does anyone know that or how I can find out?

Hi. I just bought a 1971 Ericson 27. I'm new to big boat sailing and was wondering how many people I could safely take on my boat. Any other advice is also appreciated. (I've sailed and windsurfed my whole life on smaller vessels)

I have a 1976 E-25. Anyone know how many gallons the water storage tank holds?

:confused: The Ericson literature for our 1986 E32-3 says the tank has a fuel capacity of 22 gallons. I would like to know the actual usuable fuel when filled to the top of the fuel sender. It does not seem to be a full 22 gallons to me. It is very irregular shaped so calculating the volume is...

Does anyone know how much fluid (ATF) the tranny takes? I want to change it and an not sure how much to get. Cant be more than a few quarts right?

The specs call for 30 gallons. However even after I installed a new fuel sender, it seems that it is more like 20 gallons. I admit I have not taken the fuel to Empty and then filled back up. I have however gotten to 2/3 empty and filling back up supports 20 gallons. Is it possible that the...
