Another possible source of fumes that the blower could dispel is leaky propane from the tanks that are almost in the same compartment as the engine.

We own a well maintained 1984 E30+ and sail it regularly here in Alaska. I have the on going project of strengthening it for extended coastal and some open water cruising. I'm always looking for input to my punch list ie: potential weak spots that can be strengthed, standing rigging, etc. -Z
