Specifically we had a HBW-100 trnasmission with a 2.00 ratio.
We tried everything to tune this prop in over a season to our boat.
Basically we couldn't get to work, the pitch...

Cdi furling on main
When we bought our 38' Ericson it came with a CDI furling main. It was rigged back to the cockpit and never really worked that well. It's was really hard to roll in. We ended up cutting it off and installing a full batten mainsail. We fly with this main, and have it rigged...

We had an antiquated CDI Main furling on our 38ft '82 Ericson when we bought it. We took it off and replaced it with a full batten Main.

Update on Water in Tank 38ft Ericson
Thanks again for all the fantastic input. Re. the tank we drained the water out of it and got about a gallon of fuel, went and drained another five gallons of diesel from tank just to make sure. The last three gallons drained showed no signs of water in it...

I am going to drain the fuel myself, and place some 5" holes for access points. I just found out the baffles run top to bottom in tank so the round holes seem like the best option. I'll get the rounds cut at a local CNC machinery shop, as per Marks drawings (thanks...

I figured it out. Wheel pilot ST 4000+
The key was to place the drive ring into the back of the wheel next, install the rubber chain and finally the bearings into the area between the inner wheel and drive ring. The key was this install ball bearings in first then carefully click in the bearing...
We hit heavy sea's a month ago, somehow the wheel pilot got engaged and the wheel was turned resulting in the drive ring cracking and breaking, ball bearings popped out everywhere. I have gone through the owners handbook and can't figure out how to get the bearings into their cage and then into...
