Normal Yes, that’s how it was built. Mine is the same way, I’m assuming it’s so you can access the starboard side of the transom and fittings. It’s untreated ply wrapped in the same vinyl leather as the stock headliner. It’s held in place with a few screws, that bite into a fiberglass flange...
