Steuermann

Been sailing since I was 12. Raced/cruised all kinds of boats from Santanas to Swans, mostly around the bouys and islands in southern California. Taught coastal piloting and celestial navigation at community college, enjoy working with my hands. Never met a diesel engine I didn't like. Owned a Cal 34 for 15 years. Currently with kids in college, so no boat. Maybe when I retire.

Other than a couple of dinghies, not presently an owner, but am looking.
