My 1979 E-23 mk2 came without a hinged mast sep and I am considering installing a Dwyer hinged mast step. I'm hoping that I will be able to step the mast easier this way. How much trouble is that ? Also has anyone else done that ? Thanks

Hi, I'm looking for a headsail for my E-23 MKII. I would like a 130 if possible. I have a 75, 145 and 155. It's a big jump from 75 to 145. I race the boat and this would help alot. Any one with a sail like that in good shape please let me know. Thanks, Rod.

I just got a new windvane with adjustable arms. Any ideas on where they should be positioned ?

E-23 MKII sails I have an E-23 MkII and am looking for a hank on smaller headsail possibly a 110 or there abouts . I am not sure of the measurements. Would you happen to know if you have that size that might fit and what condition and age are they ?

Does anyone know the weight of a stock mast on the E-23. I plan on raising same with an a-frame made of 2x4's and am concerned about overloading frame. I have seen it done on you-tube on a Catalina 27, in that video they said that mast weighs about 75 #. From memory the E-23 seemed heavier...

It is a MK II. The last one made in 1979. Hull #470. I did take the bulk head out as well as the chainplate. Only three bolts holding the bulkhead to the boat. I'm wondering if anyone has drilled more holes along the track the bulkhead fits in to bolt it more securely. Thanks for any ideas or...

I used the old one as a template also but it did not butt up against the headliner...there is a space between the bulkhead and headliner. The only secure spot is where it is bolted three places near the floor. Maybe I should have made it larger then the original ?

Has anyone replaced the bulkhead on their E-23? I am in the process and am concerned about how it is attached to the hull. The only place that the original bulkhead was attached is at the bottom of the bulkhead with three good size bolts but nothing else anywhere on the hull. It seems to me that...

I have lowered the mast and stepped it several times with the help of 3-4 guys. Does anyone have an easy way to do this chore ? I use the instructions fron the owners manuel. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Rod

This is probably a dumb question, but here goes. I am going to make a whisker pole for my E23 soon and use it on my E23,150 genoa. What size pole can I use for racing ?
