Have 1989 Ericson 38 E200 and would like to change propeller to help with reverse function and reduce drag.
Considering folding vs. feathering.... any suggestions or experiences would be helpful ?

Reviewing old posts I am assuming the external vent is on the transom next to the fuel tank vent port side up by rub rail....the problem i am having is the head bowl pump handle suddenly wouldn't pump I pumped out the holdingtank but no change at...
My local boat yard is advising me that it would likely be necessary to remove the mast to place a wind indicator at the mast head of my E38.
Is this necessary or can the wiring just be dropped down inside and through from above?

When changing out the rancor 220 fuel filter / separator element is it necessary to fill the filter unit/ sediment bowel with diesel before trying to bleed the system of air? My lift pump has no pump lever and I believe when the ignition is turned to on it activates the pump on my 1989 M-30...
Thanks for all of your input. I will take your experiences into consideration for all I think that the jist is bigger than 105 would be desirable and reefing is good earlier than later.

Thanks for your interest. If a bow sprit is added would you have it deck mounted and if so what to do with the acess to the anchor locker and in my case I also have a windlass a little to port of the center line?
