I taught sailing for aprox 12 years in newport/san diego/ventura ca for sailing clubs. their inventory included>> ericson's, catalina's, cal's, newports, islanders, the usual california " glass boats of the 80's " . I did 3 years on the sonoma state university sailing team ( lasers, fjs, 505s ) two years on a us navy aircraft carrier ( u.s.s. ranger / cv-61 ) 7th fleet, san fran, san diego, asia, indian ocean. ... our family has owned ( and loved ) 6 ericson's over the past years...38, 32 28, 22
