Hi Bob I was up there earlier today on other business. Weather is beautiful and the marina is starting to launch. Forecast is for bad weather soon though. My boat is an Ericson Olson 911se. I bought it used a couple of years ago and have been working on it. Hope to see you in Bayfield soon.

I sail out of Chequamegon Bay, western Lake Superior. I would like to exchange ideas about sailing up here wit other Ericson owners. Anybody out there ?

Full battens ? My previous boat was a C&C 34 that we raced. The main had a bolt rope that threaded into the sail track and the advantages were: it was light weight, it closed off slot between the mast and the main, and it was easy to reef. I recently bought an Ericson Olson 911se (30 foot)...
