I'm close to buying 1981 28+. Strut is very slightly bent towards port side. Can this be straightened in place?

We are considering purchasing this boat. Can anyone tell us the purpose of the zippers in the cabin head liner? (ceiling) also, any pros and/or cons about this boat?
