Educated in Engineering (Computer Science). Also worked a variety of other jobs, from manual labor to teaching high school algebra. Have always been interested in being on the ocean, but had to conquer some fears first. Took sailing lessons four years ago from Pacific Yachting & Sailing (Santa Cruz), then chartered their sailboats quite a few times in the first year or so. Sailed with friends and family several times since. An opportunity for an ericson 38' , that needs a little work, came up recently, and I just couldn't resist.
