l@@kin like sailing weather this am....

I'm a new owner and have not lowered my mast either. But guys at my sail club have told me the easiest way to do this is to pull my boat into an empty slip and use halyards from boats on either side to lower the mast. Our club is kind of small...only 5 docks....maybe 75 boats...but everyone...

Where do you keep your boat?

My e-25 spent the winter on a mooring, (only 4 moorings available at our club) but we have moved up on the slip waiting list and I have recently moved her to an end-of-dock tie up. I am next in line for a slip, but I think I like being at the end-of-dock. The boat gets jostled some by an...

    What's this? (part two) - Instrument Thru-hull

Bill, I live about 375 miles from Dallas. I've been checking and think maybe your pole is a little short for my e25....don't know for sure. I need to check with someone about that. Mg

    What's this? (part two) - Instrument Thru-hull

Bill, Is your pole listed in the For Sail section of the site? I live in Arkansas. Where in Texas are you and how much do you want for the pole? mgray003@centurytel.net

    e23 trailer / launch question....

Our local sail club has an extension like described....and this is a fairly small club. You may be able to find one that you could borrow. Our's has a set of 6" wheels under the end with the trailer ball. The wheels don't touch the ramp when attached to the boat, but makes it easier to move...

Replacing Vinyl Lining in V-Berth Shelf

Closure I finally got around to dealing with this issue, so I thought I would provide some closure for anyone that may use this thread in the future. First, the material: My wife accompanied me to a local fabric store, held my hand, and guided me to where the "cheap stuff" is. I found...

    New E29 Owner

Gary, Memorial Day! Wow! That's pretty soon. I hope you make it. And remember to let me know when you plan to bring the boat to the club. I'll be glad to help. I'm sure there will be others also. Those guys really helped me when I brought mine in last summer. Not sure I can make it to the...

    New E29 Owner

Hi Gary, Let me know when you are ready to bring the boat down to the club. I'm sure we can get some experienced help to step the mast and launch when you are ready. In the mean time, as this weather gets nice, give me a call if you want to come sail with me some day. Mike Gray

Replacing Vinyl Lining in V-Berth Shelf

I have not noticed any leaking into the shelf area of my V-Berth. But, that could be the cause of this initial failure, and the problem might just reappear. Thanks for that comment. I want to make sure I don't have a leak before I redo this area. Also, thanks for the comment about the spray...

Replacing Vinyl Lining in V-Berth Shelf

Thanks for the reply. I thought I would use the material that you mentioned, but figured I should ask if there is a better option first. Question: Contact cement? Did you brush that on with paint brush? When I think of contact cement, I think of coating both surfaces, letting them dry to...

Replacing Vinyl Lining in V-Berth Shelf

The white vinyl lining in the back of my V-Berth shelves is damaged, removed, and not re-usable. Any ideas of a replacement material and where to get it? Also maybe someone can offer suggestions on how to install this material. Thanks in advance. Mg
