I grew up sailing in SoCal. My dad also owned a boat named Southern Cross, our boat was named by the PO. My wife and I lived aboard a Nor'sea 27 for 3 years in the mid-80s. We have cruised much of the Caribbean aboard a friend's 42' catamaran.
