i am columbia south carolina. the guy in the wisconson shirt is a friend of mine on new years eve. i thought about sending it to capital one and getting a credit card with that photo on it.

well i took the atomic 4 out yesterday. i thought i only had a slight fuel problem, that wasnt the case. hopefully i can sell a kidney or something to pay for the rebuild. but it still looks good at the dock.

the paint i used was made by prism. it is car paint but 100% poly. so it is supposed to last a while. everything was sprayed. I gave up on wrapping shortly after starting the thread. I still have a little more non skid to put on the deck, but it is getting there.

i added a couple of new pics. i didnt think it turned out too bad for a backyard job.

the wrapper wouldnt return my calls, and the boat painter stood me up 3 times. so i am going to paint it myself. i have been sandblasting off the bottom paint and i think it is made from kryptonite. 1000 pounds of sand and i am almost halfway through. but i am still on track to be in the water...

it is like a vehicle wrap with graphics. but marine grade. im not interested in anything fancy like this http://www.signzoo.com/boat-graphics/marine-wraps/boat-graphics.html it just seems easier than painting

has anyone had any experience with wrapping a boat instead of painting? any input would be appreciated.

i paid a friend of mine $150 (and some beers) to sand the bottom of mine. he is about 70% done now.

i have a shelter to go over it. as for the pine needles.. i am at war with the pine trees. i have taken out 10 in the last 4 months.

this driver claimed he would be able to get down the driveway no problem. as you can see we had a little trouble backing down the drive. but i have to say he didnt quit. we even broke part of his suspension but he took it all in stride.
