    Kenyon gooseneck

Quick update on my gooseneck. After Kenyon/RigRite didn't come through with a replacement gooseneck I had Svendsen's/Bay Marine in Richmond, CA rebuild it. Basically, they re-used the piece that attaches to the boom and re-made the rest out of stainless steel. We changed the design a bit so that...

    Anodized mast?

Yes, that's the one. Should be ready to go back in next week :-)

    Kenyon gooseneck

Thanks for your reply Christian! It's definitely beyond repair. I bit the bullet and have a local machine shop fabricate a new one. At least I get to make some design changes that I wanted. I also feel much better supporting a local guy rather then paying sucky rigrite ;-)

Thanks for fixing the images Loren! I uploaded them from my laptop so who knows :-)

    Kenyon gooseneck

WANTED: Kenyon gooseneck Just posted the same in the maintenance thread and thought I do the same here. More is better, right? Would anybody per chance have a spare Kenyon gooseneck K-43002 and be willing to part with it? I believe they came on E34, E35, and E38s. They are for the Kenyon...

Not sure why the images show up rotated after uploading. Any thoughts?

    Anodized mast?

Thanks for all your replies! I figured that the mast was anodized and 99% in good shape. So I did not want to remove the anodization since this just is the best thing that could be on there. I found a paint that's specially formulated for anodized aluminum...

    Anodized mast?

Thanks Christian! Our mast is white and I’m wondering if they were still anodizing the white masts in 89. I read about the Ballenger product in the threads and will look into it once I confirm that my mast is anodized. I’m pretty sure it is. Just want a second opinion :-)

    Anodized mast?

Hi there, we just pulled to mast on our 89 38-200 and the paint is quite faded, especially in the front. It has a Kenyon rig and I was wondering if anybody know if the spars were anodized for the year. Thanks! Peter

    E38-200 port water Tank

Yes, that did the trick! Found access to the filler hose in a little cabinet. Removed some more wood paneling and got access to 90% of the length of the hose. Definitely time for a new hose, clamps, a couple of fittings attached to the tank. I now have the tank moved out of the way enough to...

    E38-200 port water Tank

Thanks for the quick reply Loren! I don’t want a new tank. I just want to temporarily remove the existing one so that I can properly place the new refrigeration lines without kinking them. Any idea on how to detach the filler hose?

    E38-200 port water Tank

I’m installing a new refrigerator and the pipes to the compressor are routed around the port water tank. Ideally I’d like to remove the tank or at least move it over a few inches so that I have enough space to properly place the new lines without kinking them. There is no wiggle room on the...
