    Chalk on the non-slip

    It's called a compounding pad (white) as opposed a polish pad (yellow). Can find them at auto stores. 3M makes several different grits of rubbing compound. Choose wisely! Hope this works for you as well as it did for me.

    Have you tried fine cut rubbing compound and a buffer? Did this for my '76 E35-2 and had great results.

    mast step bracket

    I have seen mounting brackets at the mast base for the purpose of attaching blocks to run halyards and control lines aft. My '76 E35-2 mast is deck stepped and I'm not certain how a bracket would be mounted or where to find one. Any 35-2 owners out there who have done so?
