    E26-3 pumpout deck fitting size

A reasonable enough explanation, Loren! PHRF-NW doesn't differential between Mk 1 and Mk 2 as suggested above, referring to both (I surmise) as ERIC26-1 and the King design as ERIC26-2.

    E26-3 pumpout deck fitting size

I think it's probably Sea Dog I had the same problem on my '84 E26-2. Kerplunk. It took several trips back and forth to the local chandlery, but I eventually found one, and it was re-manufactured by Sea Dog. This may be what you're looking for: http://www.sea-dog.com/PDF/351260.pdf...

    Forward bulkhead rot in E26-2

Bulkhead Blues #2 As it turned out, the Fein MultiMaster worked so well that I am considering buying one for myself! The tool cut through the fibreglass easily, and most importantly, deposited the debris in a neat little pile directly underneath where I was working -- as opposed to spreading it...

    Forward bulkhead rot in E26-2

Bulkhead blues Thanks for the info, Glyn... A friend has recommended that I try using the "Fein MultiMaster" tool, and has been gracious enough to lend me his. The tool will apparently cut through virtually anything with ease and precision (given the right blade), while minimizing dust...

    Forward bulkhead rot in E26-2

The forward bulkhead in my '84 Ericson 26-II has developed significant rot at its base, and needs to be torn out and replaced. (This is the bulkhead immediately aft of the anchor chain locker, forward of the V-berth.) I've seen at least 3 Ericsons now with this problem, and I'm hoping that the...

2006 NW Ericson Rendezvous - Discussion

Sidney Rendezvous Kevin and Wendy Vine here, from Salt Spring Island, new to this rendezvous idea, owners of Deryn Mor, Ericson 26. We don't yet know what goes on at an Ericson Rendezvous and are game to find out, but is there any sort of agenda or list of events for the weekend published yet...

    New Mainsheet recommendations

Better Mainsheet sheeting! I have an Ericson 26-2 (1984). The factory made the boat with a coach-roof sheeting system which catches the boom less than half-way back. Bad form, lousy geometry. I wonder what Mr. King was thinking?! I'm thinking that it would be a better plan to re-situate...

    Back Flooding thru bilge pump??

I've discovered that when under sail in a stiff breeze on port tack in my E26-2 that the cabin floor can actually become awash. The "uninvited bilge water" comes from forgetting to shut off the valve to the sink drain in the head, which will cheerfully allow the outside to gain access to the...

    E26 mainsheet traveller

I am installing a dodger on my '84 Ericson 26. In the process of setting up the mainsheet traveller to better accommodate the dodger, I have discovered that all the screws used to fasten the traveller to the cabin top have seized. Two of them have already snapped off, and will need to be drilled...
