    87' E28 spinnaker drops

it really depends on your approach angle into the leeward mark AND how much turn the boat will be making (towards the next mark). The spin on that boat looks rather manageable. No pole (Mexican) is best when the boat is making a considerable turn into the wind. Letter box is probably safest...

    Sourcing a new main halyard

We've recently replaced all lines on our E35-II. We're using Marlow, D2 Racing (all white). We use 10mm for Main, Jib, and Spin halyards and jib sheets and after guys. We use 8mm on spin sheets, topping lift & foreguy, and boom vang. We use 6mm for small control lines (outhaul, Cunningham, etc)...

    Which white?

We recently restored the topsides of an E35-II with a hull polishing, new stripes (adjusted waterline) and painted the transom. We went through a deep analysis of the color matching and found the Awlgrip "Matterhorn White" to best match our existing hull / shade. HOWEVER - with varying degrees...

A new stripe in gel coat

The bottom / rudder / stripes / transom project was time consuming - thus costly. However, we are very pleased with the outcome.

Looking for an E35-II boom replacement~

The existing (stock) boom has had 45 years of modifications. We'd like to have a fresh extrusion with a proper outhaul system (internal), boom vang setup, and internal reefing (option). We're restoring the boat to be as clean and functional as possible

A new stripe in gel coat

Our E35-II also sat off her lines a bit (low aft). Getting this straight was a challenging effort AND then leveling the new boot stripe (while keeping it the original thickness) was also challenging. We seeked the advise and support of the professionals and I was amazed at the complexity of the...
