    Rudder swing on Ericson 36C

i have the same problem. i removed the tiller cap and inserted delrin shim stock, and a delrin washer to remove the up and down slop. works great, but i still have some motion at the rudder tube. would it be possible to insert the shim stock, without hauling the boat out. im thinking that i...

    Changing packing in E27

I had a similar clearance problem after my repower. The coupler was easy to remove with a rented pulley puller from auto zone. Pulled the shaft out and used a toilet wax ring and plastic bags for the hole. The zinc on the shaft is forward of the strut, keeps it from falling into the abyss. I...

    Rub rail streaking hul

i have the same problem. lightly sand the rubber to remove the chalking. wipe it down. i used an acrylic floor sealer from home depot. apply with a clean rag or foam brush. mine has lasts for a season, its not a lot of work to apply. less work than wiping off those unsightly white stripes.
