I have an Ericson 34 in San Pedro, CA. A year ago, my wife was recruited for a job in Waikiki that she could not turn down. She had to leave almost immediately to qualify for her bonus, so her parting words were, "get a bigger boat and meet me there." So I did. It took a few months to find the right boat and get her ready for the crossing. I left LA in late November and arrived in early December.

Thelonious II is just off our stern. Christian suggested I re-join this site since I intend to sell the Ericson soon.
