Another way to lift the E-25
I also dealt with a number of ways to lift the E-25 so I could replace the keel. After numerous attempts I settled on the following. :egrin:

Be glad to, but it is going to be a slow process as the old hatch is to worn to use as a reliable template, so it's a lot of measuring and hand fitting at this point. In the end I hope to end up with templates that I can transfer to paper and share with others.

I love the look, thanks for posting pictures. Yesterday I started making a new hatch for my E-25 and was thinking about which material to use in the frame (different style hatch then yours), and now I think the smoked poly would be a good look.

Another point to consider is that the trucking firm probably pays a large insurance premium which in turn is passed on to customers. I'm not trying to defend their costs, but there is a standard of care they have to meet beyond what a regular over the road driver...
Have you ruled out a short or bad ground on the temperature sensor or gauge? Before your test-drive you way want to clean the contacts and make sure they are securely attached.
