New Ericson 26 Owner! - Vancouver, BC

Thanks for the suggestions! Seth - Thanks for the follow-up - I especially like the 'have a beer' part so next spring before I do anything, I take that part of your advice and probably continue the current system It is best to learn to walk before running! Gfw

New Ericson 26 Owner! - Vancouver, BC

A great summer just ended... Rob... I also purchased my first sailboat this year, a 1980 Ericson 25+ (although the papers say E26) and my first week I made my list of things 'to do' and was ready. I didn't really do anything immediately - I spent the first month just getting friendly with my...

    Johnson Sailmaster 9.9 on E26/25.5

I’m experiencing a minor problem with a Johnson Sailmaster 9.9 (approximate vintage is 1998-2001). It was running perfectly until I was going in reverse and ran over a piece of rope that proceeded to wrap itself around the propeller and kill the engine. I removed the rope and restarted the...

    1980 E26

I'm looking at purchasing a 1980 Ericson. It is billed as an E-26, but for 1980 I can find no references to the E26, only to the 25 or 25+. Even the NADA only lists the 25. Are they the same boat? Any comments or enlighentenment appreciated. Thanks.
