I snapped my spreader bar over the weekend while enjoying some 25 gusting to 30 knot winds. The bar was over 50 percent corroded by the looks of it. It is a real education considering the rigging looks to be in very good condition. Anyway, I need to find a replacement spreader bar for a 1975...

Atomic 4 I have an Atomic 4 with 12 hours since overhaul. I might consider selling the engine. It's in Maryland am truly not sure yet what I will do with the E29.

Be careful. The aluminum might cause corrosion as the metals are dissimilar. Please check into this.

E29 Northern Bay I am in Middle River with an E-29. I am refitting several items. I have a newly rebuilt Atomic-4 and a new 30A-charger/batteries/wiring//shore power (the good) and a crazed topside that needs attention (the bad). I too am looking at a Delmarva circumnavigation in the future...

Specifically, the ground is to prevent a static charge on the boats fuel system/filler/cap that would create a spark when you touch the metal fuel filler nozzle to your boats fuel filler hardware. I am unaware of any need beyond that purpose if you have a non-metal fuel tank. Chuck
