    1974 E 27 for sale

I am the second owner of this fresh water only e27. This is a great boat, we have enjoyed sailing her for the last couple of years. We are moving up to a larger boat to live aboard, otherwise we have no reason to part with Freya. In my opinion Ericson made some of the best boats around, sails...

    Ericson at Aqualand, Lake Lanier

Chickamauga Sailing There is good sailing on Chickamauga. We have a couple of Ericsons at Sale Creek Marina. We are far enough north to avoid all the overcrowded areas, and have quit a good time sailing the lake. Plus we are close enough to take trips to Watts Bar and to downtown a couple times...

what LEDs did you get for the inside lights? I've been meaning to do this for a while, but continually forget to bring home the bulbs. Do you remeber where and what kind of LED you purchased for the inside lighting fixtures? Any help would be great. As far as finding some of the old fixtures...

Updated E29 for sale :-( Moving

Great boat Mark, I hate to see you go. I hate it even more that you have to part with "Shot in the Dark" Someone will get a great boat. I've seen most of the work you have done to her and I know that it was all done well. I'm going to post a pic of her I took recently while we were out...

    A flag of our own.

t-shirt I like the idea, although I'd put the ericson logo on the front in the center, not off to one side (pocket location) still small (the same size as it would be on the pocket). Just my 2 cents. by the way we had two Ericsons out this weekend, both flying the new flag. Thanks - Chuck

    Installing stovetop/oven in an E27

I've got one It was installed by the original owner when he bought the boat. We love it, use it all the time. Only issue is that it takes all your drawers away. Chuck

    outboard motor shaft length e27

Thanks for all the advice The motor I currently have is a 20" 2 stroke Evinrude. I'd like to replace with a 25" for all the reasons mentioned. My concern was about excess prep drag. If I'm only get drag going 7+ downwind, no big deal. Thanks again guys. - Chuck

    outboard motor shaft length e27

I guess I'll measure the one I have My concern with getting one that is too long is that the prop will drag when the motor is in the up position. Since there is no movable mount, the motor just pivots up. I'm worried that a 25" shaft may drag. A little drag going downwind is no big deal, but...

    outboard motor shaft length e27

Anyone know what length sharft for an outboard on an e27? The motor is mounted in the cutout in the transom. I am going to replace the 25 year old 2 stroke with a new 4 stroke, and I'm not sure if I shoulld get a 20" or a 25" shaft. Any info would be great. Thanks - Chuck
