    Mast shakes violently!

Got it! Thanks y'all for the help...took my extra jib halyard and bought some 3/4 pipe insulation (foam type) and slid it over the halyard about 30ft and wrapped the halyard around the mast several times. Works a LOT better! Still pumps...but not as severe or at lower wind speeds. Sucks to take...

    Mast shakes violently!

Hey guys and gals! Been a while since I have posted here cause I been cruising. I have recently come across a problem with my rig shaking very bad with even the slightest breeze while at anchor. I hired 2 riggers to re tune the rig and it STILL does it no matter what they did! It happened after...

I'm here again! I have been away cruising all over Fla and just got back from the Dry Tortugas west of Key West. I live in Tampa and would love to find others close to cruise with or hang out with. BTW if anyone ever wants to go to the Tortugas to dive... DO IT! It has THE nicest reefs I have...

    A flag of our own.

Ditto! Ditto that! I want one as well, but here just 2 days ago the winds were west at 5 knots.. then suddenly BAM! 43.5 knots from E South east! Knocked down alot of boats! So.. the flags have to be quite sturdy for the unpredictable weather in Tampa. Once you come up with a heavy material...

Question on new price of 1976 e35

Hello all, I took Sadie out for a 80 mile cruise a week or two ago and one of my volunteering crew members asked a question I could not answer. "So how much did your 1976 e35 cost new?"... uh...er... I finally said "I dunno... good question. After viewing and sailing other boats her size and...

    Relocating traveler from cockpit

Thanks Guy's! Wow, Thanks for all the help! I do believe we can move it without too much trouble and at a decent cost. I think I'll get out my chainsaw and sledge hammer and start the mods this weekend. :) Thanks again!:egrin: Jeff

    Relocating traveler from cockpit

Hey all, I have a question as to how difficult it would be to move my traveler out of the cockpit to over the companionway hatch. As a few of you know already that my boom is already cut down and the helm relocated forward to just in front of the companionway for singlehanded racing and cruising...

    Ericson 32-3 makes You Tube!!

Purdy kewl! Where and when was this? Funny about the song as I was singing it earlier today while playing my guitfiddle. I would have been out sailing, but decided to strip the varnish off my hatch, coaming as my Teaqua was received today. Nice winds today for sailing!

    Inverter & Microwave...

Hmmmm.... Indeed.... that is another interesting idea about storage in the microwave. I LOVE the dinnerware cabinet also! I wish I could incorporate something like it on "Sadie Blu", but that is where my breaker panel is..... so.... I am thinking of ridding of my oven as about everything we eat...

    Inverter & Microwave...

To Microwave or not? My wife and I had a discussion on whether we need a microwave or not as I was measuring for one also to be located behind the ice box. She decided we don't need one because we don't use it at home so.... why use it on the boat? I then explained that SHE wants an A/C on the...

    Dinghy Poll

Can't make up my mind Funny poll for me as we have 1 of each! Our first was kayaks, but sailing was not easy with 2 kayaks on the bow:confused:(E35).... so I found a nice Zodiac 8.5 inflatable on Craigslist cheap (and with good reason) only to have the bottom fall out after 5 uses:mad:... then...
