    35-2 Shaft strut

Thanks for all of the help. I spoke to Marine Hardware and it seems they don't have a corresponding number to go with the E35-2. Does anyone here know if it is the same as the E29, 30 or 34? Thanks, Brett

    35-2 roller furling

Loren, here are a couple of pictures of the furler. I didn't get the brand name, as I didn't get down to the boat today. I just happened to have these pics from when I was looking to purchase the boat. I hope then help you identify the type of furler at least. Any info, instructions...

    35-2 roller furling

Loren, thanks for the reply. I didn't notice a name on the lower drum, but I didn't look that hard. i will shoot a photo of it this afternoon and post it tonight. As far as the turnbuckle unthreading, that appears to be what is happening, which is throwing me for a loop. I'll post the...

    35-2 roller furling

This may be a stupid question, but It seems that the old roller furling system(not sure which brand) on my 1973 E35, turns the forestay when you furl it. At first I thought maybe the roller was just frozen, but at second glance, I'm a bit confused. The other thing that I noticed is that the...

    35-2 Wheel Steering Adjustment

Thanks Loren. There was about a third of a turn of play before, and when the wheel was turned hard all the way to one side, it jumped the pulley. When I reattached the cable, I noticed that there was a lot of play in the cable, so I adjusted the turnbuckle until it was maxed out.( the cable...

    Prospective 35-2 owner

Sean, Thanks, I'll try and find some 35-2 owners on the site and ask them. The boat does have an Atomic 4 gas engine. I did read the 35-2 review in the docs section, it helped a lot. By the way, great job on the web site. It's really nice to have access to all the information and other...

    Prospective 35-2 owner

Sean, Thanks, I checked out the reviews and all the post I coul find. That will give me a good start. Do you know what the distinction is between a 35-1 and a 35-2? I'm curious, as the boat I am looking at is a '73 E35, and I assumed it is a MK2, but I wasn't sure. Thanks, Brett...

    Prospective 35-2 owner

Hi all, I am new to the Ericson website and discussion group, but I am hoping to find some help here. I am contemplating the purchase of a 1973 Ericson 35(I'm guessing it's a MK2?), hull # 275. I'm seeking advice on what to look for on this particular boat before purchasing it. The boat has...
