    Bukh DV 20 diesel parts?

Does anyone still have a BukhDV20 and desire some FREE spares to keep it going? My Ericson 36C had the original Bukh DV20 diesel when I bought the boat. When that engine finally died I replaced it with a newer Bukh DV24. I kept a lot of the small parts off the DV20 when I sent it to scrap...

    1976 Ericson 36C

The pic you show is right below the bridgedeck. The decks on my 36C have 1/2 plywood core. Does the boat in question have teak decks on foredeck and cockpit? My boat had the factory teak decks which were fairly thin and put down with sheet metal screws and a bit of zigzag of sealant. These were...

Considering buying a 36c, please help.

Puget Sound summers are similar, mostly 5 to10 kts wind. I feel we are keeping up with most but the lightweights going into the wind thru beam reach or so. With 10 kts wind, she does fine with broad reach too. With a only a 10 ft boom, we have a pretty small downwind profile and are slow going...

Bukh/westerbeke 20 Manual start hand crank

I believe the crank has a groove cut into it and the thin red tube sleeve has been installed to the crank and a corresponding groove rolled into it to act as the retainer.

Bukh/westerbeke 20 Manual start hand crank

Pulled my engine crank out today. The crank is 19 mm diameter bar stock but if you are building one, I think you could use 3/4" diameter bar stock. I tried a 3/4 dowel into the engine and it fits, if maybe a bit snug. The cranking offset is 5.5 inches (140 mm) centerline to centerline. The...

    Mainsheet boom blocks E36c

I got down to the boat and took pic of mainsheets. Didn't see the rest of your post about topping lift. My topping lift is coated wire cable (lifeline) attached on aft tang on the truck of the mast. It comes down to within 5 feet of aft end of boom and terminates with a single block. I then have...

    Mast wedges for 36c

I have no wedges at the deck for my boat. Just the boot seal. The mast is very stout and short. I don't think that an extra 6 feet of immobilization would do much of anything. If you don't mind, my asking, where are you located? what hull number/ Name of boat? Dave s/v Brass Dragon, Seattle WA

    Mainsheet boom blocks E36c

Just saw this post. did you get your pics? This is the factory setup attached to end of boom. I have collected 36C photos of other boats so may find a better shot that shows top attachment. I have seen modified arrangement which spreads out single blocks along the boom but this boom is so short...

    36C Mast step

36C Mast Step Replacement Ahoy s/v Kasidah, I am also staring at a rusted out mast step on my 36C. Mine is not yet in as bad shape as yours according to pics on your blogsite. I have fabricated a new step but am hesitant to proceed with trying to rip out the existing weldment from the hull...
